Staffing

The Pennsylvania Gastroenterology Consultants (PAGI) physicians are on the staff of the Digestive Disease Institute. The physicians are board certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine.  They have spent many years in extra training in endoscopy and gastroenterology to become experts in the field. Our support staff includes fully trained endoscopic nurses and technicians.

The Center offers the  opportunity to provide procedures during the patient's initial visit. This one-stop endoscopy is a major convenience to the patient and cost effective. Photographic documentation and reports are available to referring physicians.

Licenses and Insurance Coverage

Pennsylvania Gastroenterology Consultants and Digestive Disease Institute have received acreditation from AAAHC, a national accrediting agency. Digestive Disease Institute is licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Health.

Pennsylvania Gastroenterology Consultants and Digestive Institute participate with Medicare and most major insurance plans.

Our billing office will submit a claim for services provided by Gastroenterology Consultants, Digestive Disease Institute, and Poplar Church Anesthesia to your insurance company. Digestive Disease Institute charges a facility fee that is different and seperate from the physicians fee of Pennsylvania Gastroenterology Institute. After payment has been made by you insurance company, you will be billed for any balances due.
