Dr. Kormis is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. She is a graduate of Hahnemann Medical School and completed her residency at the University of Connecticut Medical School. She graduated from the Gastroenterology Fellowship at the University of Connecticut Medical School. She has authored many articles and book chapters. She is active in several Digestive Disease associations. She is married to a physician specializing in Internal Medicine and has one child. She has special interests in patients with irritable bowel syndrome and inflammatory bowel diseases.
